Per-job quotes that price the prep, the waterproofing, and the drive. Free, no signup.
Tile quotes die on one flat per-sqft number. Pricing the area alone while demo, waterproofing, leveling, niches, and drive go unbilled is how showers break quotes. Start with your bar (75), profit margin percent (20), minimum job fee ($400), and monthly take-home goal ($6,000). Pick a job preset: Bath floor, Kitchen floor, Shower walls, or Tub surround, each filling area, set minutes per sq ft, pattern, and which prep toggles are on as editable starting points. The pattern select multiplies time for subway (1.15x) or herringbone and mosaic (1.5x), because cut-heavy layouts cost real minutes. The prep toggles price waterproofing hours plus materials, demo hours plus disposal, and extra minutes per sq ft for substrate leveling. The leaks card prices niches, curbs, and benches by the minute, grout, caulk, and trim time, round-trip drive and miles, vehicle cost, and helper hours. Results show the full breakdown, the recommended quote (never below the minimum, rounded up to $25), dollars per sq ft, and your effective rate. The gut check runs your instinct price through the same math; the month planner turns your goal into jobs. No signup; runs on your phone.
Example only, not typical pricing. Bath floor preset at a $75 bar with 20 percent margin: 60 sq ft times 25 set minutes equals 1,500 set minutes, or 25 hours. Add 120 trim minutes and 40 drive minutes for 27.67 own hours at $75, which is $2,075 of labor. Vehicle is 30 miles at $0.67 equals $20.10. True cost is $2,095.10. Recommended quote is max(400, ceil(2,095.10 x 1.20 / 25) x 25) equals $2,525, or $42.08 per sq ft. Effective rate is (2,525 minus 20.10) divided by 27.67 equals $90.54 per hour, which clears the bar, so the verdict is PRICED RIGHT. A $1,500 gut quote would pay $53.49 per hour, grade WORKING TOO CHEAP, and leave $1,025 on the table. The month planner turns $429.90 of profit per job into 14 jobs and about 387 hours for a $6,000 month, more than a full-time month, so the goal needs bigger jobs or a higher bar.
